Reopening Safer at Home
We want you to be safe and happy on your next visit to Telluride, so here’s an overview of the most recent update on the Safer-at-Home order, issued on Monday, January 4th.
Safer-at-Home Level Orange: High Risk
San Miguel County just downgraded the Stay-At-Home order from Level Red: Severe Risk to a Safer-At-Home Level Orange: High Risk. This is based on attempting to balance the health and well-being of the residents of the states, with the business needs that also exist.
What Level Orange Means
This new level reduces indoor capacity in all bars, restaurants, gyms and offices to 25%. For schools, in person or remote as appropriate. For private gatherings, no more than 10 people from no more than 2 households. Bars are closed, unless food is being served and groups are seated. For group sports, virtual or outdoors in groups of no more than 10 participants. Travel by air and car only if it is essential travel.
State of Colorado
The state has confirmed that all ski resorts will remain open. So, come play outdoors, safely!
If you’re planning to join your family in Telluride, please be aware of these restrictions. And, don’t hesitate to order take-out!
