We're open // How we're keeping you safe

Winter Happy New Year

From all of us here at Latitude 38, we wish you nothing but the best in 2021 — Happy New Year!

Let’s put 2020 behind us

The pandemic was — for sure — the craziest, most disruptive and memorable thing to happen in 2020. In the Telluride community, as everywhere else, it changed the landscape of things. Festivals were cancelled, restaurants were closed, and annual events didn’t take place. With different county orders, people were asked to behave in a variety of ways. Of course, that was to keep everyone healthy, and we so appreciate the help of our frontline workers, but things were just…different. And, we’re ready to put the year behind us. Aren’t you?

Looking ahead

Although we don’t really know how 2021 will take shape just yet. We’re so grateful the Telluride Ski Resort is able to stay open, and that guests are able to visit. With social distancing and mask wearing required, you’re able to hop in a gondola cabin and ski for the day. Mountain Village has even set-up temporary outdoor dining options in the plazas. Although no one would blame you if you choose to catch some sun while enjoying take-out from Gorrono Ranch. However you enjoy the resort — what an incredible treat!

New Year’s Resolutions

Maybe you participate (maybe you don’t) in setting New Year’s resolutions. With life altered so drastically for so many this year, we thought it a prudent exercise. And, thought it would be fun to share some Latitude 38 staff members New Year’s resolutions with you. Hopefully they will inspire you:

  • Master skate skiing
  • Dance more
  • Teach yoga again
  • Master inversions / handstands
  • Read several books
  • Practice gratitude often
  • Ski more efficiently on moguls
  • Spend time with family
  • Give more compliments

Have a healthy, safe, fun, and fabulous New Year!
