Located 65 miles from Telluride, the Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the closest commercial airport and the most popular option for flying into Telluride. Year round flights are provided by United Airlines to Denver. Summer service is provided by United Airlines to Houston and American Airlines to Dallas. Winter service expands to Houston and Newark and is operated by United Airlines, service to Dallas and Chicago with American Airlines, service to Atlanta with Delta Airlines and service to Los Angeles and Phoenix/Mesa with Allegiant Air.
