From Gartner’s offices in Stamford, CT, Kevin was CFO of the $150m Gartner CIO Division. Kevin and his family have immersed themselves in the Telluride lifestyle where Kevin is a member of the Telluride Volunteer Fire Department and stays active by skiing, hiking, and chasing his kids.
Favorite Hike: "Ajax Peak - It's pretty easy, right outside town, and has incredible views of Telluride."
Director of Reservations & Marketing
Tim has lived in Telluride since 2010, and has loved every minute of it. A New Jersey native, Tim joins Latitude 38 after several years as a private marketing consultant. He is also a photographer, and a Marine Corps Veteran, and uses all the skills he's gathered to help lead the reservations and marketing efforts at Latitude, to showcase why we're the best vacation rental company in town. In his free time, Tim is an avid biker and skier and enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children and the office dog, Monty.
Favorite Bike Trail: "Prospect Trail - Any ride that has more down than up is always good."
Director of Property and Guest Care
Turner comes to Latitude 38 with background in restaurant management and travel sales. Most recently, Turner was the manager at Honga's here in Telluride. As a native of Boulder, CO, Turner brings deep management experience and added energy to the office. When he's not overseeing the Property Management team here at Latitude 38, Turner enjoys skiing, biking and hanging out with his wife and 2 year old son and dog Stella.
Favorite Casual Restaurant: "Brown Dog - Great restaurant, great bar."
Reservations Operations Manager
Ft. Collins born and raised, Lacy is a rare breed of true Colorado natives. After attending Colorado State University, Lacy lived abroad in Peru where she honed her Spanish skills teaching English and thwarting would-be cell phone bus thieves. She loves to move her body as a yogi and dancer with moves that would crush even the most worthy street dance battle opponent. When she isn’t rocking the sales game, she can be found hiking outside or busting a move at the Liberty.
Favorite Elegant Restaurant: "The Chop House - Best burger & steak in town!"
Reservations and Guest Services
Lisa has a multitude of past experience in real estate sales and development in both Telluride and her native Florida. A longtime Telluride local, Lisa brings deep knowledge of the local rental market and excels at creating the perfect vacation for our guests. She’s an avid skier and hiker, having climbed 57 fourteeners. Lisa also likes spending time with her two dogs, Sophie and Scooter.
Favorite Apres Ski: "Tomboy Tavern in Mountain Village - The spicy edamame keeps you drinking!"
LEE SHEA BETTEN
Lee Shea grew up in the sunny state of Florida, and after spending a few years working in pharmaceutical sales in New York, has since transplanted herself in Telluride. Her wonderful husband Sean works for San Miguel County doing IT, and has the most beautiful Golden Retriever Jude. Stop in and say hello to to them!
Favorite Thing About Telluride: "The lifestyle and natural beauty!"
Other than a brief stay abroad in the Land Down Under where she resided in a kangaroo’s pouch, Brittany has never ventured far from the mountains. And why would she? Born in Alaska and raised in Colorado, she's always felt at home in towns that could double as snow globes. Brittany graduated from the University of Colorado in 2011 before moving back to Telluride. In her free time, she can be found camping in the mountains, hiking, or paddle boarding on Trout Lake with her ferocious attack pup, Ellie.
Favorite Hike: Hope Lake in the Fall
Erica, Latitude 38’s resident adventure junky, has lived in Telluride for sixteen years while somehow managing to spend less time here than anyone! Usually found hanging off the side of mountains in a yellow dress, working on her Weekend Warrior Adventure website, or climbing Grand Teton with fellow disabled vets, she lives a life void of “dull moments.” Prior to working for Latitude, she managed the airlines at the Telluride airport to fund her wild adventures, and now - serendipitously - is mother to a 12-year-old wunderkid who is already logging flight hours.
Favorite Telluride Pasttime: Rocking her mad sock game on the softball fields where she plays for Telluride Tire
A river rat in disguise as a tall blonde woman, Kerry feels most at home fly fishing in a boat on the water. Unfortunately, since living in a boat on the water isn’t practical year-round in Colorado she was forced to move into a real house in Telluride. As a previous mountain town resident of Durango and Crested Butte, she spends most of her free time getting lost in the mountains with her dog, Penny, and testing out all of the wonderful things to do around town as Latitude 38’s concierge.
Favorite Festival: Blues & Brews
Content Marketing Manager
Sarah, a native of Austin, Texas, grew up spending family vacations in Telluride where she learned how to ski and fell deeply in love with the San Juan mountains. Following her graduation from Wake Forest University, she moved out to Colorado faster than you can say, "John Denver," with her corgi mix Bateman. She has lived in Telluride full time since 2017 and has embraced mountain living with fervor - hiking in the warmer months, playing in the snow in the winter.
Favorite Apres Ski: "The Cosmopolitan for sushi and cosmos. Don't miss the salmon tataki!"
Chief Financial Officer
Shanda moved to Telluride in 2006 after visiting Colorado for the first time with a friend. From the beginning, Telluride stole her heart, so she went back to Houston to gather her belongings and faster than you can say, “Yeehaw!” she found herself a permanent resident of our little box canyon. Shanda enjoys the slower paced mountain lifestyle and only misses the humid, mosquito-filled streets of Houston when she needs to shop for new threads. As our new CFO, Shanda brings all the skills of a mathematical gangster to Latitude 38 along with the swagger that comes with owning a Harley Davidson.
Favorite Coffee Shop:The Coffee Cowboy, I love the pay it forward board
Jake grew up in a military family and moved around the eastern and western coasts of the United States, as well as overseas in Naples, Italy for 15 years. He studied Communications, with a concentration in Mass Marketing and Public Relations at Richmond, the American International University in London. He was a Registered Representative, working in finance as an Investment Advisor and Financial Planner. He has also taught English as a second language and has a passion for teaching and learning. Cooking, spending time with friends, and traveling are some of his top interests.
Favorite Brunch Spot: "Flora Dora - Sit in the sun on Main Street and sip a bellini."
Bretley, originally a California girl hailing from sunny San Diego, has been in Telluride so long she can remember when the sidewalks were wooden....seriously. The classic case of “came to ski, stayed for the library,” she decided to put down roots here and is now mother to fifteen-year-old Soren. Fondly known to her coworkers as “Bradley” she has been in the property management industry for so long, she could install a light bulb blindfolded and with a hand tied behind her back. She has a fierce eye for detail and will stop at nothing to make sure your home is perfect for your vacation.
