USA Pro Cycling Challenge Telluride - August 20th - 26th, 2012Vacation Rentals - Hotels - Lodging for the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Tour In 2011 the inaugural USA Pro Cycling challenge took place in Colorado, with nearly one million roadside spectators, television coverage by three major networks, broadcasting to 161 countries worldwide; and took American cycling to a level never imagined by race coordinators, spectators or the race participants which included Cadel Evans, Andy Schleck as well as other Tour de France podium winners, Olympians, World Champions and the crowned first ever champion of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Levi Leipheimer of Team Radio Shack. The race will start on Monday, August 20th in Durango and will wind its way through seven scenic stages, and 12 of Colorado's most cycle enthusiastic towns, ending in Denver, Sunday, August 26th, 2012. This year, the mining town, turned ski phenonmenon Town of Telluride will be a host city for this years USA Pro Cycling Challenge. The first stage of the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge, 111 miles from Durango to Telluride.
