Alpino Vino - Located on the Telluride Ski Area - Winter Only Oh my goodness! What decadence! Skiing along down SeeForever from Revelation Bowl on an incredible blue sky, sunny, warm afternoon, Jay spots the tiny chalet called Alpino Vino right on the trail. We’d noticed it had become a little restaurant last year but seeing skiers lounging on the new deck in the sun, sipping wine, just drew us in. The whole thing looked like a “European Slopeside Scene” and right here on the mountain in Telluride……so of course we had to stop. Wine, a beautifully presented cheese platter and the special soup of the day served in a tiny copper pot. Everyone talking to each other across tables, laughing, the waiters joking,…..all of us soaking up the sun, the ambiance. Expensive? You betcha. Worth it? For just one time...Totally and wonderfully decadent.
