Where & when do I check in?

Check in time is 4 p.m. unless we have approved an earlier check-in time. We ask that all guests call or email at least two weeks in advance of arrival to let us know an estimated time of arrival.  On your day of arrival, please call at least one hour prior to arrival to confirm the estimated time of arrival, so that one of our staff members can meet you and personally help you into your vacation home.

One of our staff members will be waiting for you at your rental property to greet you and show you around. They will show you around the property, offer instructions for operating electronics and special features like hot tubs and ensure that you have everything you need during your stay. How do I get keys to my property?

Most Latitude 38 rental properties are equipped with a smart lock that's integrated into our reservations system. Before your arrival you will be emailed a door code that's active only for the length of your stay, and unique to you. For the handful of properties without this type of lock, two sets of keys are provided for each property. The keys to the property will be waiting for you inside the home. Upon arrival, one of our staff members meet you to let you inside.

What are your office hours?

Typically, our office is open from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. However, you can reach someone from our office 24/7 in case of emergency during your stay.

What if I am arriving late?

We understand if you need to arrive later in the day. If your travels are delayed, we please ask that you give our office a call at 970.728.8828 to let us know. We will leave lights on at your property and you will be able to access the property using your driving directions and access code. If you arrive before 9 p.m., one of our staff member will greet you at the property. If you arrive after 9 p.m.,we will most likely meet you the next morning. However, if you get lost or have a problem you can always reach one of us using the numbers listed on your driving directions.

When is departure time?

The check-out time is 10 a.m., sharp. If possible, we will grant late check-out requests up to noon on the day of departure. Please call or email us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to extend your check-out. Please note that late check-outs are not always available due to reservation restrictions.

Is there a cleaning fee for homes?

Yes, a one-time cleaning fee applies to every rental. This fee is based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall size of the property. If you’d like additional cleaning during your stay, please call us at 970.728.8838 to book a mid-stay clean.

Is housekeeping available during my stay?

Yes, below are mid-stay cleaning prices depending on the size of the property.
You can choose between a "tidy up" and a "full clean".
 
Tidy up:
1-2 bedroom: $75
3-4 bedroom: $125
5+ bedroom: $150

Full Clean:
1-2 bedroom: $150
3-4 bedroom: $200
5+ bedroom: $250
 
Tidy up:
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean kitchen (dishes cleaned and put away, wipe down counters, clean sink, tidy up)
- Make the beds (with current sheets)
- General "pick up" and "wipe down" of each room
- Take out all trash
- Replenish paper goods

Full Clean:
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean kitchen (dishes cleaned and put away, wipe down counters, clean sink, tidy up)
- Replace the all sheets and towels
- Make the beds
- "Pick up" and "wipe down" each room
- Vacuum/sweep/ mop all floors
- Take out all trash
- Windex windows and mirrors
- Replenish paper goods

Do I need to bring linens?

No, all of our vacation rentals have professionally laundered, high quality sheets and towels.If your property has a hot tub, hot tub towels will be provided.

Do you provide paper products, soaps and other household supplies?

Yes, our vacation rentals are furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, face tissue, bath gels, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, a clean sponge and laundry soap. Cling wrap and foil are also provided. Some homes also have a basic supply of spices, cooking oil and cooking spray. Depending on how long your stay is and your level of usage, you may need to purchase more of these items at any of the local grocery stores.

Are washers & dryers available?

Most of our properties have a washer and dryer available. Dryer sheets and laundry soap are provided.

Can I bring my pet?

Please inquire about pets while you are booking your property. Many of our homes do accept pets but we require a pet deposit and a signed pet waiver. You must declare this during the booking process. Undeclared pets of any breed can result in denial of entry or eviction from your rental home with no refund of any deposits. You will be held financially responsible for any and all necessary cleaning.

Are the homes non-smoking?

Yes, all of our rental properties are non-smoking. Tobacco and marijuana are both prohibited inside the properties.

Are any of your rental properties wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Please contact our Reservation Team for a list of handicap accessible properties.

Is there heat and air-conditioning in my rental property?

All of our rental properties have heat. Our vacation homes do not have air conditioning since Telluride boasts an average daily temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months.

Is there any construction going on near the home?
We cannot predict construction plans in the area and unfortunately have no control over construction noise. You may book a property at a time when there is no construction in progress nearby, but construction could begin prior to your arrival. We truly regret any inconvenience, but we are not able to facilitate relocations or refunds.

What if the property I rent is for sale?
This is a resort town and at any time, many of the Latitude 38 properties could be for sale. Please inquire if your specific home is for sale. If it is for sale, a real estate showing may be requested. The real estate broker must provide you with 24 hour notice of a possible showing. If your vacation rental sells, or somehow becomes unavailable between the time that you booked you home and the date of your arrival, the new owner does not have to honor your reservation. If this is the case, Latitude 38 will work diligently to find you a suitable replacement property.
